I havn't gotten around to read the post yet, I'll start with the others. But your links in the beginning, to the beginner and intermediate posts doesn't work, only the last one :-)

Lifecasting is one of my favorite things to do. I think it really helps build a personal brand but you really do have to be careful with it and have a certain strategy.

If your casts lack anything useful well its really not going to help your brand. Also you want to be as transparent as possible but you have to remember that its your potential clients watching and you probably don't want to offend them.

Awesome advice dan. I am a firm believer in building a strong personal brand through blogging, that is why I started blogging 6 months ago. So many of those things resonated with me on the list, especially video. In fact, I just started a weekly video show that I would be honored if you checked out...the episodes aren't long but I hope it helps build my personal brand as an adventurous entrepreneur. It's here if you get a chance: http://brianlinton.com/?page_id=607
Cheers,
Brian

What if your blog is about a passion (mine: dogs)that is separate from your career (mine: media/marketing) Should you still cross promote on your sites such as linkedin, etc?

Dan, Thanks for the step-by-step advice. I enjoy doing radio shows and am comfortble in front a microphone. A video camera - - okay I'll keep working on that. Your series has been encouraging and informative.
