Great post! I work as a recruiter in Boston for Hollister (www.hollisterstaff.com/?=451) and get asked this question by many of my candidates. It is always intimidating to try to network with people more successful than you are, but I think your tips are great and would be very helpful to anyone. Thank you!

I didn’t read it fully but it’s a great post from what I saw.

The part about going to events is great. You have a chance to talk to them, sometimes not. It seems that when you start talking to them you forget that they’re the “big wigs”, sometimes not.

This is a very good post. People need to get over that fear and befriend the big folks. I think I will use pieces of this as my role as an education coordinator in my BNI chapter.
