The halo effect is also a very intriguing aspect of creating a credible personal brand. It&#039;s very similar to the favorable perceptions people associate with well known brands they trust and like. If others with influence view your personal brand favorably you will receive opportunities others do not.

If you are using social media venues/tools to advance professionally, then your online presence, in all its iterations, should be polished, consistent, thoroughly planned, and diligently monitored.  Leave a good first impression, and the implications are far reaching.  This “rubbing off” is called the halo effect.</description>
