This “social media” thing is so amazing that every day I’m baffled. I would have never even known who you were if I didn’t go to Amazon to pre-order Gary’s new book, Crush It. Your book was suggested by the site based on the purchase I had just made.

I have to tell you that for the longest time I contemplated starting a Vlog and I just sat on it and sat on it. After listening to Gary, I went for it. It’s only been a week I have received at least 6 emails from absolute strangers givign me thanks for “inspiring” them. Wow! ME! Inspiring others???? I’m amazed!
I created a fan page on Facebook that is growing everyday! 90 followers in a week. Every morning 1 or 2 new people trickle in and they engage with me via messages. I connect with people on Twitter. I have made it a habit to “search.twitter” a couple of “key” words right before I go to bed around 3 am. LOL I ask questions and engage with NEW people based on THEIR conversations.

I’m telling you, Gary has been so instrumental to me. He’s my “personal mentor” and he doesn’t even know it.

I went on his Facebook fan page and posted a message telling him thanks for putting the fire under my @$$ to get going. I really wasn’t expecting a response as I had just heard him speak and say he didn’t have time to respond to every email anymore. But I was surprised to see a response from him thanking me for my words.

Who he learned from? I don’t know. All I know is that I AM learning from him and it’s paying off!

I’m married, a mom, a full-time college student, work full-time and I’M CRUSHING IT! I’m following my passion and I KNOW IT WILL EXPLODE INTO AMAZING THINGS FOR ME!
