Great interview, with a lot of inspiration and lessons to be learned. I agree with Jared that focus and passion have to meet for the entrepreneur to be successful, but I also believe that 'guts' play an important role. So many to-be entrepreneurs never really become entrepreneurs because of a lack of the will to do... Thanks Dan!

This was a very well-done interview with some basic and fundamental principles to becoming an entrepreneur. I think the critical takeaway is having a FOCUS, but also combining this vision with an insatiable desire (aka PASSION) to succeed. The economy will only live on if the INNOVATIVE, DYNAMIC, and EXTRAORDINARY people come to the surface and do what they do best...develop what has never been developed before! Great work Dan...

I love this qoute 'The lesson is that there’s no second place. Either you go home or they go home, or you both don’t go home. Once I understood it gave me a different kind of drive'. That is huge and full of meaning

Robert Kiyosaki's one of the best and a fond advocate of my company. We've just partnered with an Internet startup that is about to become the newest "mega" brand like Amazon or Facebook. It's going to be an explosive viral ride.

Facebook’s meteoric rise to over 300 million users took little over three years, taking the first 12 months to reach 400,000 users. Blastoff has already grown to almost 250,000 users in just over two weeks! That’s because it’s also FREE to join, but it’s even more fun than the stand-alone social media sites. Blastoff’s a fully customizable homepage featuring access to web mail, social networking, news, videos, movies, TV, music and games – all in one place – a personal launch pad into cyberspace based on individual preferences.

Add on top of this, Blastoff's unique online shopping mall that provides shoppers value and financial rewards during an economic time when everyone would welcome some relief, and you’ve got an explosive combination poised to go viral in a big way. Members who join the completely free network, receive incredible discounts from more than 400 major retailers and on wireless, home, and other services – cash-back shopping on every purchase, and the ability to earn rewards when their friends and contacts join their network and shop online (cash-back on every online purchase made by those in their network).

Be one of the first to take advantage of Blastoff ( public launch was just over two weeks ago) by joining now at http://BlastoffAmericans.com and get your network growing before everyone else does. As your network grows, so does your income.

Loved the interview. The #1 challenge a lot of S and E quadrant types have is their own personal mindset and beliefs about who they are and what they can do: you have got to commit to guts and constant growth and learning, and not everyone is willing to do that. And yes, social media is here to stay.

I'm a big fan of Kiyosaki's Rich Dad series - great interview Dan, and thoughtful responses by Kiyosaki. $200k/yr on social media goes to show that micro/blogging and social networks are fundamentally changing the way we communicate.
