I have been working in executive search for almost 30 years, and increasingly often advise senior executives to build their personal brands.  The extra effort to invest in themselves actually allows them to offer more to their employers as well.   Branding is a win/win, yet requires creativity, courage, and effort. They got job offers that night..... The individuals is the important component of a company, through twitter and blogs the individual can just make that known more ;)</description>
