New technology powers our personal brands.  Today was Macworld, which is Apple Computers biggest event.  Steve Jobs, one of the most well respected brands in technology, gave a keynote about the many innovations that Apple has done for 2008.  As our brands move from reality to the internet and now mobile, this technology will be important.  Besides, who wouldn’t want to rent a movie for a few dollars instead of paying $10 to go see one.

  • iPhone – Developers can now write applications this year.  Maps with location is a completely new system, which acts like a navigation system (GPS).  It can pinpoint exactly where you are on the map.
  • iTunes Movie Rentals – You can rent movies for cheap using Apple iTunes. New Line Cinema, Disney, Warner Bros. and all the other big guns have signed up.  You can watch movies on your iPhone, iTouch, etc.
  • Apple TV 2.0 – You can now watch these rentals right on your TV without a connection to your computer.
  • MacBook Air – “The worlds thinnest notebook.”  It fits inside an office envelope.
